Automotive industry mammoth Honda required a new branding approach for their expert events team.
The events teams’ purpose is to promote Honda as a whole but to primarily highlight the vast range of sectors the company operates in. Our task was to provide the team with a new collective brand that supported their mission. A challenge no doubt, but we shifted into design gear and set off.
Honda are a household name the world over, operating within a variety of motor vehicle and sports sectors. A modern and stylish look and feel has become the hallmark of their branding, with clean cut finishes and a simplistic white and red colour combination. Such a distinctive look gave us a great base to build on.
‘The Power of Dreams’ (Honda’s slogan), became a crucial aspect of our initial ideas and helped form the crux of our designs. Building around their ‘Dream Team’ theme, we created a 70’s film poster inspired concept including team silhouettes and funky background graphics.
