When a brand like Mini got mentioned during conversation, you could almost see our ears starting to prick-up and tails wag.
An industry legend, we were ecstatic when we were asked to hop on-board a project with them to design packaging for a Mini replica styled audio player product.
When the brief landed we fuelled up with coffee and biscuits, started up our creative engines and got to work fine tuning our ideas. Staying on-brand was crucial as the Mini brand is instantly recognisable and something that should be made the most of.
To put our own creative twist on the packaging was a challenge given the strong identity, but the addition of a black tarmac-like texture, audio icons and a few racing signifiers gave the packaging a stand-out personality.
The overall effect resulted in a bright, enticing and on-brand packaging design to help drive sales.
